I./ A quarter past (Quarter = 15 min)

2Q: What time is it?

A: It is 6:15 AM or It is a quarter past six.

A: It is 6:15 PM or It is a quarter past six.

 

II./ Half (Half = 30 min)

Q: What time is it?

A: It is 7:30 AM or It is half past seven.

A: It is 7:30 PM or It is half past seven.

 

III./ A quarter to (Quarter = 15 min)

Q: What time is it?

A: It is 3:45 AM or It is a quarter to four.

A: It is 3:45 PM or It is a quarter to four.

 

IV./ O’clock

Q: What time is it?

A: It is midnight or It is twelve o’clock.

A: It is midday or It is twelve o’clock.
