Today we will learn some adjectives that we can use to describe people.

We will look at some positive adjectives that we can use to compliment and say nice things about other people.

We will also look at some negative adjectives that people use to offend and say nasty things about other people.

First, let’s look at the positive side of personality!!

Positive adjectives

  • Good-natured – This is someone who is pleasant or friendly. The opposite of this is
  • Open-minded – This is someone who is willing to consider ideas and opinions that are new or different to their own. The opposite of this is narrow-minded.
  • Polite – This is someone who behaves in a way that is socially correct and shows understanding of and care for other people’s feelings. The opposite of this is
  • Optimistic- This is someone who is full of hope and emphasizes the good parts of a situation, or a belief that something good will happen. The opposite of this is
  • Organized – This is someone who is able to plan things carefully and keep things tidy. The opposite of this is
  • Imaginative – This is someone who is good at thinking of new, original, and clever ideas. The opposite of this is
  • Clever – This is someone who has or shows the ability to learn and understand things quickly and easily. The opposite of this is
  • Generous – This is someone who is willing to give money, help, kindness, etc., especially more than is usual or expected. The opposite of this is
  • Knowledgeable – This is someone who knows a lot about something. The opposite of this is

Negative adjectives
